So who is Jill Lebofsky? I ask myself this often and the answer changes on a daily basis but there are a few constants. I am a wife (just celebrated 21 years of marriage, 26 years together), a mother of a sophmore in highschool and freshman in college and a doggie mama to 2 Retrievers.
I'm also a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin and a friend.
I'm NOT known as a woman of few words. It is a fact I like to talk A LOT, write 2 page long texts and you'll need a few minutes sometimes to get through one of my Facebook posts. Why? Because I love social interaction, intelligent communication and the give and take of a good discussion. My gift of gab has served me well over the years in my different pursuits. Here's the details.
I started out as a Speech-Language Pathologist, helping adults regain the ability to talk, think and swallow safely after having a stroke, fighting cancer or living with Alzheimer’s disease. But I soon realized preventative health care was where I could make a true difference. With small lifestyle changes, I knew people could avoid the problems I was seeing people suffer from unnecessarily.
I became a Weight Watchers leader after the birth of my second child, leading classes weekly at local meeting rooms and in corporate settings. This was the start of my journey toward helping individuals shift their mindset about their relationships with food, themselves and others and teaching people how to eat healthy and incorporate movement into their lives.
In 2008 I became a Certified Pilates Instructor and ran my women only Pilates/TRX® studio Healthy U until 2016. In 2012 I was trained by The Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Health Coach and have created and facilitated many individual coaching sessions and group programs for hundreds of
women over the years.
I have also received numerous specialty certifications to address the needs of women’s wellness, including Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist® and the 3rd Age Woman® certification focused on eating, exercise and self-care for the perimenopausal years and beyond.
I was introduced to Young Living Essential Oils® in May of 2014 and have helped 100's of families feel better sharing my oily love and knowledge ever since.
I have authored 2 Amazon best-selling books. "No Sweat! It's Just Menopause:Eating, Exercise and Essential Oils for a Healthy Change" & "Melt The Midlife Middle:A Beginner's Guide For Women To The Intermittent Fasting & Essential Oils Lifestyle".
My mission is to show women that middle age doesn’t mean life is over, in fact, it is just beginning and it starts with feeling confident, strong and purposeful in body, mind and spirit.
